Since he began playing covers at age 12 to earn tips in local coffee shops, Andy Stack has consistently struck a chord with his crowd. He formally started touring with a blues band when he was 15 years old, later attending SUNY Purchase for his musical training. Although he has played guitar in several bands, Andy now writes and sings his own original music. With his guitar in hand, Andy has toured the US several times, played throughout Europe, and showcased his skills in festivals from Bonnaroo to the Toronto and Montreal Jazz Festivals. Andy has played with such noted performers as Jonah Smith, Les Nubians, Soozie Tyrell,  NY Ska Jazz Ensemble, and most recently Duncan Sheik.  He's also opened for artists including Martin Sexton, Madeline Peyroux, Little Feat,Los Lobos, Charlie Hunter, Taj Mahal, among others. Recently Andy has opened for Dar Williams and Guy Davis in support of his new solo record.  The New Record "Like a Light" is available now!!   Andy is a member of AFM local 802 and an ASCAP songwriter.  Andy also endorses D'addario guitar strings.  When not on the road you can find him in his home city, NYC.  
Andy is also available at times for session work on guitar, bass, bg vocals, keyboard, mandolin, and  has a growing number of students who take lessons  in person,over the internet, and with the National Guitar Workshop.
